JOHN WEXLEY V
The relationship between Daphne and her older brother is complicated. They were very close as children and Johnny taught Daphne everything he knew. As they started to grow up, Daphne grew farther away from her brother, being interested in boys at an early age. Johnny did everything he could think of to scare away men who wanted to call upon his younger sister, without her even knowing. When Daphne was only 16, she went to him and relayed her deepest secret. She had fallen in love with a young man named Robert Lovering who was involved with the Revolution, and they were going to run away together and be married. Johnny, terrified of losing his sister, and certainly not wanting to give her up to a man who couldn't support her and would most likely doom them both, contacted the police and had him arrested and executed. He was the one who broke the news to her about Robert. Instead of taking it like he thought she would, she became furious and ended up leaving anyway.
Now she's coming home and he will welcome her with open arms. But what happens when he finds out that she has every intention of spending the rest of her life with a young doctor, even if he is wealthy, he isn't a Lord. To be honest, he wouldn't accept anyone's proposal to marry his sister, but that's his excuse. Daphne doesn't know it was him that gave up Robert, and who knows if she ever will. He believes, if he has to give her up to anyone, it should be Lord Eward Mountford-Miles.

APPEARANCE: Daphne has very soft, fair skin and dark brown hair and eyes. She isn't a gorgeous young woman, but she definitly looks the type that you would take home to mother and she would approve instantly. When dressed in gowns, she can turn heads, but when dressed in trousers and a workman's shirt, her hair tied back, she could easily be mistaken as a young man. She's tall for a woman, 5'7", and when disguised as a male, she has to press down her breasts with a wrap, since they are fairly large. On her inner thigh she has a large scar from when she was caught during a mission for the Revolution.
